Targets Through 14 Games

Washington – Odunze (131), Polk (97), Mcmillan (52 – 10 Games Played), Westover (50), Bernard (44), Johnson (23), Culp (22), Jackson (19 – 6 Games Played), Nixon (15), No One Else over 10 Targets

Starting with Injuries, It Currently Looks Like Everyone Is Set to Play in This One. the Big Injury to Watch Was Dillon Johnson, Who Went Down in the Final Minute of the Semifinal, but All Indications Are He’s Going to Play in This One. the Washington Oc Is Saying All the Right Things and That He’s Not Expecting Johnson to Be Limited, While Johnson Is Saying He’ll Play and “Give Whatever My Team Needs, ” but Added That He Won’t Be 100%. We’re Likely Not Going to Get Much More Information Beyond That Given the Stakes of This Game, So Whether He Will or Won’t Be Limited Is Anyone’s Guess. the Washington Tes Devin Culp and Jack Westover, Along with Their Starting Cb, Jabbar Muhammad, Were Also Banged up in the Semifinal but Are Expected to Play.

At Qb, We Have Michael Penix, Jr. for Washington and Then for Michigan. as Reflected in the Stats Section, Washington Is Very Pass Heavy, Whereas Michigan Leans on Their Run Game, So We Should Expect a Meaningful Difference in Pass Volume Favoring Penix. Penix Does Draw the Tougher Matchup Against a Very Good Michigan Defense, but as Noted, They Haven’t Faced Many Good Passing Offenses, So There’s a Chance the Michigan Pass Defense Is Not as Good as Their Numbers Indicate. Game Script Also Points Toward Heavy Volume for Penix, as They Are an Underdog, and If Their Rb, Dillon Johnson, Is Limited Some, Then They Could Tilt Even More Towards the Pass. the Downside to Penix Is That He’s Not a Dual Threat, So He’s Unlike Some of the Other Big Name Cfb Qbs That Can Completely Break a Slate with Their Dual-Threat Ability. to Put up a Big Score, He Needs the Passing Tds and Yardage, and He’s Someone That Definitely Needs to Be Stacked with His Wrs.
