It’s been a while since Elden Ring was launched, and the game is still managing to stay on top of the charts. After receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, the game is being widely acclaimed by fans, despite a few performance issues that marred the game’s launch.
Elden Ring Veterans Mad Over Players Using Summons, Ashes & Magic
If you have played Elden Ring, you might be well aware of the fact that the game has introduced a new mechanic, known as Spirit Summons. This basically allows you to get some extra help during battle, and it summons spirits of a wide range of enemies you encounter during your journey. Spirits cost FP to summon, and they can only be summoned once per battle.
Now, this hasn’t gone down well with some of the Souls veterans, and they are quite unhappy with players using Spirit Summons to take down bosses. This was something that they have expressed since the game was released, but as more and more players are finishing the game, many are being bashed for using the summons in the game.
If you thought that was too much, there is more. On top of using spirit summons, players are also being called out for using Ashes of War as well as Magic builds. It is known that Magic is pretty powerful in the game, with spells like Comet Azure, when paired up with the right stuff, boasting the ability to even one-shot bosses.
The question remains, is it actually unfair to use summons, ashes, or magic? Well, absolutely not. By no means any of this is not a part of the game, and if you are playing a game that is as hard as Elden Ring, you need to make the best use of everything available at your disposal.
Surely, that might disappoint a few purists, but that doesn’t change the fact that it is an integrated part of the game and this is actually how it is meant to be played. Whether they like it, or not.
