“Escape from Babylon” by Suicideboys

There’s a Lot Being Put Forth in “Escape from Babylon” Which Gives Listeners a Glimpse into Ruby and Scrim’s Respective Experiences with Romance and the Dispositions They Have Developed as a Result. but the Title Alludes to One of the Most Referenced Cities in the Bible, Babylon. and in the Grand Scheme of This Track, There’s Really No Need to Delve Deeply into That. but Most Simply Explained, It Centers on a Demonic Entity Who, When Personified, Is Referred to as a Female and Is Named “Babylon”, After the Ancient City of the Same Name. and with That in Mind, the Implication Would Be That the Suicideboys Also Perceive Romantic Interests as Such, I. E. Evil Ladies.
