“Feeling for You” by Milky Chance
By David Miller
The way the featured narrative reads is as so. Previously, the vocalist was suffering from a serious case of depression. But the addressee, who’s apparently a romantic interest, “pulled [him] from up under”, i.e. cured his melancholy via her love. However, eventually, by the looks of things, she proceeded to leave him cold.

Or put otherwise, it’s as if the vocalist has been cast into an even worse case of depression in a way, this time being caused by the absence of his significant other. And apparently – as he was at first in a strange twist of fate if you will – the singer once again finds himself dependent on the addressee’s presence in order to overcome the serious funk he has found himself in.
“I don’t know what it means
But I know you’re the only reason
I can’t escape the feeling
I’m feeling for you
Nevеr fell so in deep
And now I’m starting to believе it
I can’t escape the feeling
I’m feeling for you”
