A black comedy-drama called Ludo tells four utterly unrelated yet linked storylines. An eccentric criminal named Sattu (Pankaj Tripathi) plays the game of ludo at the start of the narrative; this serves as a metaphor for how his actions determine the fates of several characters. Each colour signifies a unique plot that is destined to intersect with Sattu acting as a catalyst, just like in the game of Ludo. The youthful pair Akash (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Shruti (Sanya Malhotra), whose private visit has been secretly recorded and posted online, symbolise their laid-back affection on the yellow side. Rahul Awasthi (Rohit Suresh Saraf), a struggling employee from a tiny village, and a Malayali are represented by the blue side, which embodies their innocent youth, unintentionally unearths Sattu's treasure when it is being desperately sought after. The survival of Pinky (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Alu (Rajkumar Rao) is on the positive side. Alu had been smitten with the former since high school, but when her husband is revealed to be a murder suspect, she goes to him for assistance.
