College Football Dfs: Top Draftkings Picks for the Week 13 Late Slate

It Definitely Does Not Feel Great Having Armstrong as a Core Play, but It’s Another Week Where the Qb Pool Is Thin, and Armstrong Is Dirt Cheap. He’s Continued to Be Unimpressive as a Passer Since He Returned to the Starting Lineup, but He’s Been Used Heavily in the Run Game, with 36 Rushing Attempts over His Last Two Games. It’s a Good Matchup for Him to Have Success on the Ground, as This Unc Rush Defense Has Been Shredded over Their Last Four Acc Games. a Bad Virginia Running Game Piled up 228 Rushing Yards, Georgia Tech Ran Wild with 348 Rushing Yards, Including 90 Rushing Yards by the Qb Haynes King, Duke Ran for 179 Yards, and Then Clemson Put up 247 Rushing Yards Last Week. with the Price and Matchup, I’ll Reluctantly Go Back to the Armstrong Well One More Time.

Brennan Armstrong, $6,100

I’m Still Waffling Between 2 Qbs or 4 Rbs When Considering the Superflex, but If I’m Going the 2 Qb Route, Then Beck Is My Second-Favorite Qb on the Slate. the Georgia Run Game Has the Premier Matchup in This Game Against a Really Bad Georgia Tech Run Defense, but This Georgia Tech Pass Defense Also Doesn’t Scare You. Georgia Has the Highest Team Total on This Slate at 42.50 Points, and They Should Go up and Down the Field Against This Defense, Providing Beck with Plenty of Scoring Opportunities. at $9,100 I’d Ideally Like a Higher Ceiling, but Qb Is Weak on This Slate in My Opinion, and He’s Been a Consistent 20 to 25-Point Producer and Draws a Good Matchup Here.

This Is Dependent on Him Starting, So Double Check That He’s Back in the Lineup If You Do Roster Him. I’m Not Enthralled with Bean, but I Honestly Struggled on Whom to Even Write up Beyond the Core Qbs, as I Flat out Don’t Like This Qb Group. My Favorite Exposure to Kansas Is Devin Neal, but Cincinnati Is Not Playing for Anything, and They Looked Like a Team That Quit Defensively Last Week. Bean Does Have Some Running Ability and Has Popped off for the Random Big Game, So I’ll Take a Few Shots in Gpps.

I Like the Jayhawks Running Game Quite a Bit Here, as They Draw a Cincinnati Team That Has No Bowl Hopes and Is Playing Run Defense Like They’ve Quit on the Year. Uh Wasn’t Able to Run the Ball Against Them, but Otherwise, over the Last Month, Ollie Gordon Ran for 271 Yards and 2 Tds, Rj Harvey Ran for 164 Yards and 3 Tds. Last Week, West Virginia Ran for 424 Yards and Averaged a Ridiculous 9.2 Yards per Carry, as the Qb Ran for 154 Yards, and White, the Rb, Ran for 204 Yards and 1 Td. Neal Has at Least 18 Attempts in Each of His Past Four Games, and This Looks Like a Great Spot for Him to Continue His Strong End to the Year.

Outside of the Texas Game Where the Kansas State Running Unit Had a Bad Game Script Due to the Wildcats Falling Way Behind, Giddens Has Been on a Roll over the Past Month. He Has 18 and 21 Carries over the Past Two Games, While Ward Has Just 10 and 7 in That Span, So Giddens Has Clearly Separated as the Top Rb Option for Kansas State. Kansas State Should Be Playing from Ahead in This Spot as 10-Point Favorites, and Giddens Is Still Very Affordable at Just $6,200. I Don’t Love the Matchup with Isu, but the Cheap Price Point Balances Things Out, as He Should See Around 20 Touches for Just $6,200.

Audric Estime, $8,200

Estime Is Expensive, So He Falls Behind Neal in Terms of Priority for Me, but This Is a Really Nice Spot for Him Against a Bad Stanford Defense. Notre Dame Has an Implied Team Total of 37.50 Points, Which Is 2Nd Highest on the Slate, and Estime Continues to Churn out Yards and Tds. the Pac 12 Can Be Pass Happy, but Teams That Want to Run Have Had Success Against This Defense. over the Past Two Weeks, Damien Martinez Has Put up 15/146/4 Against This Defense and Ott (Cal) Just Put up 166 Yards and 1 Td Last Week. the Ucla Rbs Combined for 4 Tds, While Usc Averaged 6.4 Ypc and Oregon Averaged 7.4 Ypc. I Worry a Little About the Blowout, but the Matchup Is Definitely There for Estime to Put up 100+ Yards and Multiple Touchdowns in This Spot.

Omarion Hampton, $7,500

Hampton Has Been Absolutely Unreal over the Second Half of the Year, with at Least 112 Rushing Yards in Every Game Since Week 7, Including Five Games Where He Has Topped 30 Dk Points. He Was Particularly Impressive Last Week Against a Quality Clemson Defense, So I’ll Go Right Back to Him Even in Another Somewhat Tough Matchup. Nc State Has Been Solid Against the Run, Allowing Just 3.7 Ypc, but the Better Running Games They Have Faced Have Mostly Done Just Fine, as Estime Had 14/134/2, the Duke Rb Had 13/123/1, and Mark Fletcher Had 23/115 (They Did Shut Down Jawhar Jordan). Hampton Has Just Been Too Good, So I’m Not Going to Be Scared off by a Good-but-Not-Great Nc State Run Defense.

Benson Has Been Tough to Roster This Year for Me, as He’s Not Particularly Cheap, and His Touches Have Mostly Topped out at 15. with the Injury to Jordan Travis, We Could See Benson Finally Step into a Little More Volume Against a Florida Defense That Has Coughed up 39, 43, 39, 52, and 33 Points over Its Last Five Games. Teams Are Doing Whatever They Want Against the Gators, as Outside Wrs Have Put up Big Games, but Running Games Are Also Getting Loose, as They Have Allowed Two Players to Top 200 Rushing Yards in a Game This Year (Ray Davis and Jayden Daniels). over Their Past Three Games, Arkansas Has Put up 226 Rushing Yards, Lsu Ran for 329 Yards, and Missouri Ran for 177 Yards. It’s Tough to Trust the Volume, but I’ll Work in Some Benson in Gpps Hoping for a Volume Spike with Travis Unfortunately out for the Year.

Kevin Concepcion, $6,500

I Really Like the Floor/Upside Concepcion Provides in This Spot Against a Struggling Unc Defense. He Operates out of the Slot and Is the Clear-Cut Alpha Wr for Nc State. Unc Has Coughed up Some Big Games to Opposing Slot Wrs, as the App. State Slot (7/117/1), Pitt Slot (8/90), Miami Slot (11/96/2), Virginia Slot (12/115/1), and Georgia Tech Slot (6/83/2) All Had Nice Receiving Days Against This Defense. Additionally, with the Nc State Passing Game up and Down Combined with Some Opt Outs at Rb, Nc State Has Also Involved Concepcion in the Running Game. He Has 6, 5, and 9 Rushing Attempts over His Past Three Games to Go with His Usage out of the Slot, So I Love the Floor His Volume Provides, and the Matchup Is There to Provide a Nice Ceiling Outcome.

Tyler Brown, $5,100 or Jake Briningstool, $4,400

If Choosing One, My Preference Would Be the Upside with the Slot Wr over the Te in Briningstool, but I Like Both a Lot as Value Options. Clemson Continues to Lose Wrs, as Beaux Collins Is Now Out. Both Brown and Briningstool Should Have Solid Roles in the Clemson Pass Game, as the Team Lacks Talent and Bodies out There. the Interior of This South Carolina Pass Defense Has Been Susceptible All Year Long, as the Unc (7/66/1), Mississippi State (7/256/1), Tennessee (9/104), Florida (10/166/1), Missouri (5/97/1), A&M (6/118/1) and Jacksonville State (5/106/1) Slot Wrs All Piled up Nice Days in This Matchup. Brown Has 16 Targets over the Past Two Games, While Briningstool Has Chipped in with 12, So It’s a Good Combo of Cheap Price and Solid Volume to Go with a Plus Matchup.

Xavier Legette, $6,600

I Do Have Some Trepidation Here, So While I May Go Underweight This Spot in Gpps, I’ll Lean into the Projections and Look at Legette in Cash Games. I’m Expecting South Carolina to Struggle to Run the Ball Against Clemson, So Legette Should Continue to Pile up Targets, with 13,13, and 8 Targets over His Past Three Games. My Concern Here Are That the South Carolina Offensive Line Is Not Good, So I Worry About the Clemson Defensive Line Overwhelming This Offense. South Carolina Has Been Easy to Figure Out, as They’ve Put up Yards Against the Bad Defenses but Then Struggled Against the Better Defenses in Kentucky, A&M, Missouri, Tennessee, and Georgia.

Keon Coleman, $6,600 and/or Johnny Wilson, $5,400

I’ve Been Attacking This Florida Defense with Outside Wrs for Several Weeks Now, and This Would Have Been a Great Spot with Jordan Travis Under Center. However, There Is Plenty of Uncertainty Now with Tate Rodemaker Under Center for the Seminoles and How He Can Perform. There’s Also Some Uncertainty as to Who Will Be His Preferred Option Between Coleman and Wilson, So This Is Gpp Only. However, Florida Has Now Allowed a Wr to Go over 100 Yards in Six Straight Games, and in Five of Those Games, It Was an Outside Wr. I’ll Likely Set a Rule for 1 Max Between the Two in Gpps, but I Want to Attack the Matchup with Talented Outside Wrs Like Coleman and Wilson Even Though the Qb Play Is Uncertain.
