Free Fishing Days | Macaroni Kid Binghamton

Don't forget about FREE FISHING DAYS in NEW YORK STATE!

It's time to get out your rod and reel! Whether you're a family that fishes or if you'd like to give it a try, free fishing days in New York State are the perfect time to see what you can catch around our local waterways!

Speaking of local waterways, where should you go?

We've lined up some local spots for you that allow fishing and have a pretty good reputation for being well stocked. Don't see your favorite (legal) fishing hole? Let us know!

Those are just some of the most prominent parks that allow fishing. If you want the insider tips, you could use a fishing hole finding app like Fishbrain. Recommended by Marie Henricksen, a local Mac Momma, Fishbrain shows you where other fishermen have gone, and what they've caught there. There's a free trial for it, so I highly recommend that if you use it, you download before you plan on going, and then delete your account before the first charge hits.

If you find yourself catching the fishing bug, let us know of any new spots or apps that work for you. Post pictures of the great (or not so great!) catches you and your family make on our Facebook, Macaroni Kid Binghamton, NY.
