Special Weapons in COD Warzone

Taking a few pages out of Black Ops Cold War‘s notebook, a new category of weapons called ‘Special Weapons’ has been added to Warzone.

However, it has been creating some confusion among Warzone players simply because they have been catalogued properly as it is in BOCW.

In BOCW, players can access these special weapons as a completely separate category of secondary weapons. But the same isn’t true for Warzone.

The special weapons in Warzone are scattered in different categories instead of placing it under a separate new section.

But there are a total of four special weapons that you can get in Warzone. They are:

• M79 Grenade Launcher
• R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow
• Ballistic Knife
• Nail Gun.

What’s more interesting here is that to unlock the Nail Gun, you will have to use the other three Special Weapons and secure five eliminations in 15 different matches. And that’s applicable only for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

To unlock the Nail gun in Cold War Outbreak, you’d need 25 kills using these special weapons across 12 different regions.

You can refer to this Nail gun guide for a detailed explanation and how you can obtain it.
