By Maya Lin-Takahashi
Beloved cartoon characters soared through the skies above New York City while bands and floats marched along the streets during the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last month.
Balloons this year included Snoopy, SpongeBob SquarePants and Goku, a character from the manga, Dragon Ball Z.
The parade also included performances from the casts of some Broadway musicals.
